Therapium VELOURIS™ Correcting Concealer — 25 Medium Neutral

The neutral middle of the range — the shade to pick when you cannot tell whether your skin is warm or cool.

Organic aloe leaf juice is the first ingredient, ahead of any oil, with organic shea butter, rice bran oil and plant waxes giving it body. Sodium PCA, sodium hyaluronate and hydrolysed hyaluronic acid keep the finish from going dry and powdery. Colour comes from mineral pigments — titanium dioxide and iron oxides — at a high enough load that a thin layer covers, so you do not have to pile it on.

Is this your shade?

Neutral is the most forgiving position in any shade range, because it is the one that does not fight your skin in either direction. If the jewellery test comes out ambiguous — gold and silver both look fine on you — neutral is the right column, and 25 is its medium step.

• Under the eye — this is the shade if your foundation is 30 Tan Neutral or 35 Tan Warm.
• On blemishes and redness — match your foundation depth instead, so 25 covers on medium skin.
• If you are between — 15 Medium Cool and 20 Medium Warm are the same depth with a cast; 30 Tan Neutral is the next step up in neutral.

How to use

1. Apply in small dots where you want coverage.
2. Tap out with a fingertip or a small brush, working outwards.
3. Build a second thin layer if you need more, rather than one thick one.
4. Blends over foundation, or use it on bare skin on its own.
