These terms apply to all orders placed on therapium.com. By placing an order you confirm that you have read and accept the terms below.
Last updated: 4 September 2026
These terms apply to everything you buy from us on therapiummed.com. Please read them before you order. Nothing here takes away the rights the law gives you as a consumer.

2. What these terms cover
- These terms govern the sale of goods by us to you through this website.
- They are written for consumers — people buying for purposes outside their trade, business, craft or profession. If you are buying for a business, some of the rights described here (in particular the withdrawal right in clause 7 and the guarantee in clause 8) do not apply to you.
- Two further documents form part of these terms and you should read them alongside this one: Returns and refunds and Shipping and delivery.
- Our privacy notice explains what we do with your personal data. It is not part of the contract of sale, but it does apply to your use of the site.
- The language of the contract is English. Where we publish a translation of these terms and there is a conflict, the English version is the one we will apply, except where the law of your country of residence says otherwise.
3. Who can buy from us
- You must be at least 18 years old to place an order.
- By ordering you confirm that you are 18 or over and that you are ordering for yourself or as a gift, not for resale.
- We may refuse or cancel an order if we reasonably believe this clause is not met.
4. How a contract is formed
- Everything on our product pages is an invitation to order, not an offer. Prices and availability can change until you place your order.
- When you complete checkout you are making an offer to buy.
- We send an order acknowledgement by email. This confirms we have your order. It is not yet acceptance.
- The contract is formed when we send you a dispatch confirmation. Where an order contains several items, a contract is formed for each item when that item is dispatched.
- If we cannot accept your order — the product is out of stock, we cannot ship to your address, payment was not authorised, or the price or description was clearly wrong — we will tell you by email and will not charge you. If you have already paid, we refund you in full.
- Before you commit to pay, the checkout shows you the product, the total price including tax, the delivery cost and the delivery address. Please check them.
5. Prices, tax and payment
- Prices are shown in euro (EUR) and include all applicable taxes. The price you see on the product page is the price of the goods.
- Delivery is charged separately and is shown at checkout before you pay. Our delivery charges are set out in Shipping and delivery.
- The price that applies to your order is the price displayed when you place it, even if we change the price afterwards.
- If a price is obviously wrong — for example a clear pricing error that you could reasonably have spotted — we do not have to supply at that price. We will contact you and either confirm the correct price so you can decide, or cancel the order and refund you.
- We accept the payment methods shown at checkout: [TO BE COMPLETED — list of accepted payment methods]. Payment is taken when you place the order.
- Deliveries to Switzerland, Norway and, depending on where your parcel is dispatched from, the United Kingdom may attract customs duties or import taxes charged by the destination country. These are not included in our prices. See Shipping and delivery.
6. Delivery, risk and ownership
- We deliver to the countries listed in Shipping and delivery, and only to those countries.
- We aim to deliver within 3 to 7 days of dispatch. If we cannot meet that, we will tell you and give you a new date.
- If we have not delivered within 30 days of the contract being formed, you may ask us to deliver within an additional period that is appropriate. If we still fail, you may cancel the affected part of your order and we will refund you without undue delay.
- The goods become your risk when you, or someone you have named to receive them other than the carrier, take physical possession of them. Until then, loss or damage in transit is ours.
- You own the goods once we have received payment in full.
- If nobody is available to take delivery, the carrier will leave instructions. If the parcel comes back to us because it was not collected, or because the address you gave was wrong or incomplete, we will contact you. We may charge the actual cost of a second delivery attempt.
7. Your right to change your mind
- As a consumer buying at a distance you have a statutory right to withdraw from the contract within 14 days, without giving a reason.
- The full explanation — when the 14 days start, how to tell us, the model withdrawal form, who pays return postage, and how and when you are refunded — is set out in Returns and refunds.
- The law allows a trader to refuse a return of sealed goods that are not suitable for return for health protection or hygiene reasons, once they have been unsealed after delivery. Food supplements fall into that category. Where this exception applies to the statutory right, our voluntary guarantee in clause 8 goes further and gives you a remedy anyway.
8. The Therapium 60-day guarantee
- On top of your statutory rights, we give a voluntary commercial guarantee: 60 days from delivery to change your mind, opened bottles included.
- This is a contractual promise from us. It is binding on us, it is in addition to your statutory rights, and it does not limit or replace them in any way.
- The conditions of the guarantee — who can use it, what you get back, and how to claim — are set out in Returns and refunds. Those conditions apply only to the guarantee. They never apply to your statutory rights.
9. If something is wrong with the product
- The goods we supply must match their description, be fit for the purpose goods of that kind are normally used for, be supplied with the accessories and instructions you can reasonably expect, and be of the quality and have the qualities normal for goods of that type.
- If they do not, you have statutory remedies under Directive (EU) 2019/771 on the sale of goods, as implemented in your country. In outline: you can first ask us to repair or replace the goods, free of charge and within a reasonable time. If that is not possible, we do not do it, or the same problem comes back, you can ask for a proportionate price reduction or you can end the contract and get a refund.
- We are liable for any lack of conformity that exists at the time of delivery and becomes apparent within two years of delivery.
- If the problem shows up within the first year after delivery, it is presumed to have existed at delivery and you do not have to prove it. In some countries that presumption runs for the full two years. Either way, you do not have to prove anything to us in that period — tell us what is wrong and we will deal with it.
- These remedies are free of charge for you. We pay the cost of returning a faulty or incorrect item.
- To use them, email office@therapiummed.com with your order number, what is wrong, and a photograph if the problem is visible.
- Nothing in these terms restricts these remedies, and nothing in our 60-day guarantee replaces them.
10. Food supplements — terms specific to what we sell
Please read this clause. It matters more than most of the others.
- What we sell are food supplements. They are foods, not medicines. They are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease, and nothing on our website should be read as saying they do.
- Food supplements are not a substitute for a varied and balanced diet and a healthy lifestyle.
- Do not exceed the daily dose stated on the label.
- Keep the product out of the sight and reach of children.
- Talk to your doctor or pharmacist before taking a supplement if you are pregnant or breastfeeding, if you are taking anticoagulants or any other prescribed medicine, if you are under medical supervision, or if you have a diagnosed condition. Some supplement ingredients interact with medicines.
- If you have an allergy or intolerance, read the full ingredient list on the product page and on the label before you take anything.
- Stop taking the product and seek medical advice if you have an adverse reaction. Please also tell us at office@therapiummed.com so we can record it.
- Store the product as stated on the label and use it before the best-before date.
- Any information on our website about ingredients, research or nutrition is general information about the product. It is not personal medical or dietary advice and is not a consultation. Only a qualified professional who knows your circumstances can give you that.
- If our website offers a quiz, questionnaire or recommendation tool, its output is a suggestion based on the answers you type in. It is not a diagnosis and not medical advice.
11. Using this website
- You may use this website to browse, to buy, and to manage your account.
- You must not use it to break the law, to send anything malicious, to attempt to gain access to parts of it you have no right to see, to scrape it systematically, to place fraudulent or speculative orders, or to interfere with its operation for anyone else.
- If you create an account, keep your password to yourself and tell us if you think someone else has it.
- Any review, comment or other content you submit must be your own honest experience and must not be unlawful, offensive, or somebody else's material.
- We may suspend or withdraw access to the website. If we do, we will give reasonable notice where we can.
- We do not promise the website will always be available or free of errors. We may change it at any time.
12. Intellectual property
- The Therapium name and logo, the design of this website, and its text, photographs, illustrations and other content belong to us or to the people who licensed them to us.
- You may view, download and print pages for your own personal use in connection with buying from us.
- You may not copy, republish, adapt or use any part of it commercially without our written permission.
- If you submit a review or photograph to us, you keep ownership of it and you give us permission to display it on our website and in our marketing. You can ask us to remove it.
13. Our responsibility for loss or damage
- If we fail to comply with these terms, we are responsible for loss or damage you suffer that is a foreseeable result of that failure. Loss or damage is foreseeable if it is obvious that it will happen, or if we both knew it might happen when the contract was formed.
- We do not exclude or limit our liability in any way where the law does not allow it. That includes liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, liability for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, liability under product liability law for defective products, and your statutory rights as a consumer — including the withdrawal right in clause 7 and the conformity remedies in clause 9. Nothing in these terms should be read as affecting any of that.
- Beyond those things, we are not responsible for loss that was not foreseeable, for loss of profit or business opportunity, or for loss caused by an event outside our reasonable control — provided we tell you about the event and take reasonable steps to reduce its effect.
- We are not responsible for the consequences of using a product in a way that contradicts the label or clause 10.
- If we cause damage to your property through our negligence, we will repair it or pay to have it repaired.
14. Complaints
- If something has gone wrong, tell us first — most things are quickest to fix directly.
- Email office@therapiummed.com with your order number and what happened, or write to Therapium Ltd, 71–75 Shelton Street, Covent Garden, London WC2H 9JQ, United Kingdom.
- We acknowledge complaints within 3 working days and aim to give you a substantive answer within 14 days. If we need longer, we will tell you why and when to expect an answer.
15. If we cannot resolve it between us
- The European Commission's online dispute resolution (ODR) platform closed on 20 July 2025. There is no longer an EU-wide online form for consumer disputes, so please do not look for one.
- Start with our complaints address in clause 14.
- If you are not satisfied with our answer, you can ask your national consumer body for help. In Romania this is the Autoritatea Națională pentru Protecția Consumatorilor (ANPC). In the United Kingdom it is the Citizens Advice consumer service. Other countries have their own equivalent.
- For a cross-border purchase within the EU, Norway or Iceland, the European Consumer Centre (ECC) in your country of residence gives free advice and can contact us on your behalf.
- We are not currently signed up to an alternative dispute resolution (ADR) scheme. If that changes, we will name the scheme here.
- None of this affects your right to take the matter to court.
16. Governing law and where you can bring a claim
- These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales.
- That choice does not deprive you of the protection of the mandatory consumer law of the country where you habitually live. If your national law gives you a right that these terms do not, you keep that right and it applies.
- You can bring proceedings in the courts of the country where you live. We will only bring proceedings against you in the courts of the country where you live.
17. Changes to these terms
- We may change these terms — for example to reflect a change in the law, in our delivery arrangements, or in what we sell.
- The terms that apply to your order are the ones published on this page at the moment you placed it. A later change does not affect an order already placed.
- The date at the top of this page tells you when it was last changed.
18. Other things worth knowing
- If a court finds that part of these terms cannot be applied, the rest of them stay in force.
- If we do not insist on something straight away, or we delay in taking action, that does not mean we have given up the right to do it later.
- The contract is between you and us. Nobody else can enforce it, except that a person you named to receive the goods may exercise rights in relation to their delivery.
- We may transfer our rights and obligations under the contract to another organisation. We will tell you in writing if that happens and it will not affect your rights.
- You may transfer your rights under our 60-day guarantee to a person who has taken over the product from you, if we agree in writing.
