The darker of the two scents — a rich hand cream in woody amber and leather, and the one that carries coumarin.
Sunflower seed oil and cocoa seed butter carry the richness, with wild mango kernel butter behind them. Sodium PCA and sodium hyaluronate hold water at the surface, and sea buckthorn, cloudberry and blueberry fruit extracts round out the formula. The texture is velvety rather than waxy, so hands are not slippery afterwards — which matters when you reapply after every wash.
Which of the two scents — and what differs on the label
Both hand creams share one formula. Only the fragrance changes, and the fragrance changes which allergens have to be declared:
- Woody Amber & Leather — this one. Atlas cedar and patchouli over amber, with the leather note coming from coumarin and vanillin. Declared: Benzyl Alcohol, Vanillin, Linalyl Acetate, Linalool, Coumarin, Pinene. It is the only one of the two that contains coumarin, which is a common enough contact allergen to be worth knowing about.
- Spices & Sandalwood — juniper and cedar over sandalwood, with lavender underneath. Declared: Benzyl Alcohol, Linalyl Acetate, Beta-Caryophyllene, Pinene, Limonene, Linalool. No coumarin — but it does contain limonene and lavender oil, which this one does not.
Neither is the safe option in the abstract; they are two different allergen profiles, and which one suits you depends on what you react to. If you react to neither, pick by smell.

How to use
- Massage a small amount into hands and cuticles.
- Reapply after washing your hands.
- Use a little more before bed on dry, chapped skin.
