What the science says
Hexapeptide-11 — A short chain of six amino acids, first isolated from yeast. In lab tests on skin fibroblasts it activated the skin's own antioxidant and protein-maintenance responses, and in volunteers it improved measured skin elasticity. [1]
Glycerin + sodium PCA — Humectants: glycerin is the second ingredient — it hydrates the upper layers so fine lines look less visible. [2]
Jojoba, borage, mango butter — Emollients that keep the thin skin around the eyes smooth and soft. [3]
Hexapeptide-11 is present in a small amount; the study does not state the concentration it used, so we only promise what hydration and emollience deliver: a smoother, softer look. Vitamin C here is ascorbyl palmitate, an oil-soluble antioxidant in a small amount — it protects the formula; we do not claim brightening from it.
