What the science says

Glycerin — A humectant that draws water into the outermost skin layer and keeps it soft and supple — one of the most-researched moisturising ingredients. [1]

Hyaluronic acid — A water-binding molecule that holds moisture on the skin's surface for a plumper, dewier look. [2]

Humectant-only formula — Humectants hydrate the upper layers of the skin; without oils or waxes the finish stays light — the right match for skin that does not want extra richness. [3]

The hyaluronic-acid study used 0.1% creams around the eyes; our gel uses sodium hyaluronate in a small amount. Zinc PCA is in the formula as a skin-conditioning ingredient — we do not promise shine or oil control from it, because there are no independent studies on it alone.
