Therapium VELOURIS™ Smoothing Foundation — 30 Tan Neutral

A neutral tan shade — the middle of the deeper half of the range.

Organic aloe leaf juice heads the list, ahead of the oils. Kaolin and rice starch give the semi-matte finish and let the texture set on its own, so it does not need powdering over. Colour comes from mineral pigments — titanium dioxide and iron oxides — rather than synthetic dyes, and the load is high enough that a thin layer evens out the look of the complexion. Hexapeptide-11, two weights of hyaluronic acid and radish root ferment sit alongside them, with organic beeswax and lecithin holding the texture together.

Is this your shade?

Neutral at tan depth, which makes it the safer choice at this level when you are ordering without seeing it. Depth and undertone move independently: a tan complexion is not automatically warm, and 30 exists for exactly the people who tan without going golden.

• Your shade changes twice a year. Most people move one step of depth between summer and winter while keeping the same undertone — someone who is 25 in February is often 30 or 35 in August. That is why the range steps in fives.
• If you are between shades — take the lighter one, then build.
• Pair it with Concealer 20 Medium Warm under the eye, 30 Tan Neutral on blemishes.
• Either side — 25 Medium Warm and 35 Tan Warm are the warm shades either side of this depth.

How to use

1. Warm a small amount on the back of the hand.
2. Press it onto the centre of the face and blend outwards with fingers, a brush or a damp sponge.
3. Build a second thin layer where you want more coverage.
4. The texture sets by itself — powder over it only if you want a flatter finish.
