Vitamin C contributes to the normal function of the immune system, and this 10 ml shot carries 200 mg of vitamin C, 20 µg of vitamin D3 and 4 mg of zinc, each of them printed on the label with its own percentage of the reference value.
- A nine-fruit juice blend from concentrates carries the shot, not filtered water with flavouring added afterwards — orange, apple, mandarin, guava, papaya, lime, mango, pineapple and grape are all on the ingredient list.
- The vitamin D3 comes from lichen instead of the usual sheep's-wool lanolin, so the whole shot is vegan, and the label says so.

Twenty-five shots gone, twenty-five left, half the bottle. Each one carries 200 mg of vitamin C; vitamin C contributes to the normal function of the immune system.

The second half of the bottle
The bottle empties on day fifty. Vitamin D contributes to the maintenance of normal bones — that is the authorised wording for the 20 µg in each shot.

Why a fruit juice base and not just flavoured water?
Because the ingredient list starts with water and then a nine-fruit juice blend from concentrates — orange, apple, mandarin, guava, papaya, lime, mango, pineapple and grape — rather than water with flavouring added on its own. That is what the label prints, in that order.
Is the vitamin D3 really vegan?
Yes. Most vitamin D3 comes from lanolin, the grease in sheep's wool. The label for this shot states the D3 is from lichen instead, which makes the whole product, including the vitamin D, vegan.
Does it contain sugar?
Yes — sucrose is on the ingredient list as the sweetener. This is a sweetened juice-based shot, not a sugar-free one, and we would rather say so than leave it unclear.
Why is zinc only 40 % of the reference value, when vitamin C and D3 are so much higher?
Because 4 mg of zinc is what the label states, and 4 mg is 40 % of the reference value — well above the 15 % needed to call the shot a source of zinc, but not close to the 250 % and 400 % printed for vitamin C and D3. The label prints all three percentages; we have not rounded any of them up.
What exactly was tested, and by which laboratory?
The label states "Lab-tested in Germany" without naming the laboratory, a report number or a batch. We do not hold a specification or a lot-specific analysis document for this shot beyond what is printed on the label, so we are not going to invent a laboratory name or a report number here.
How do I know the bottle I receive is the real thing?
