So what does apple cider vinegar actually do?
We are not allowed to tell you, and we are not going to pretend otherwise. The EU Register of nutrition and health claims contains no authorised wording for apple cider vinegar, so any sentence a seller writes about what it does for digestion, appetite or weight is one the regulator has not approved. This product has no other ingredient that carries a claim either.

Why 1,200 mg here and 600 mg on the front of the pack?
600 mg is one capsule; the daily dose on the label is two capsules, which is 1,200 mg. Both numbers are printed, and neither is rounded.
Is it vegan?
Yes. The capsule shell is hydroxypropyl methylcellulose, and the ingredient list — vinegar concentrate, L-leucine, dicalcium phosphate — carries nothing from an animal. The product carries no allergen labelling under Regulation (EU) No 1169/2011.
Why capsules instead of a drink?
Vinegar is acidic enough that people are often told to keep it away from tooth enamel when drinking it by the spoon. Swallowed whole with water, the concentrate does not sit in the mouth or touch the teeth on the way down. Whether that suits you better than a drink is a matter of preference, not of effect, and we make no statement about effect either way.
