The bottle empties on day thirty-three, well inside the two months the label allows after opening. Vitamin C contributes to the normal function of the immune system — that is the authorised wording for the 80 mg in each shot, and the only thing we will say about what it does.

Why are the strains named instead of just a CFU count?
Because the label prints them that way: Bifidobacterium lactis, Lactobacillus acidophilus, Lactobacillus plantarum and Lactobacillus salivarius, at 10 billion CFU together. We repeat exactly those four names rather than shortening them to "a bacterial-culture blend".
What does the vitamin C sentence actually say?
"Vitamin C contributes to the normal function of the immune system." That is the exact wording authorised for a product carrying at least 15% of the reference value of vitamin C; this shot carries 100%. We do not extend it to cover the bacterial cultures, which have no authorised wording of their own.
So what do the bacterial cultures do?
We are not allowed to say, and we are not going to guess. The EU Register of nutrition and health claims contains no authorised wording for bacterial cultures as a category, so any sentence a seller writes about gut health or digestion is one the regulator has not approved. What we can print is the number: 10 billion CFU of four named strains per 15 ml shot.
Is it vegan?
Yes. The label lists no animal ingredient, and the front of the bottle states it directly.
Why does it need to be used within two months of opening?
Because it is a liquid culture with only potassium sorbate and sodium benzoate as preservatives. The label says to store it closed, in a dry, cool place protected from light, and to consume it within two months of opening, and we print that instruction rather than a longer one we cannot back up.
Can I take two shots if I am fighting a cold?
No. 15 ml is the recommended daily dose printed on the label and it must not be exceeded. If you are pregnant, breastfeeding or under a doctor's care, check with your doctor before adding a new supplement rather than doubling the dose.
How do I know the bottle I receive is the real thing?
