What two gummies contain

The course

What thirty days look like

Two gummies a day, sixty in the jar. Here is what you do and what you can count — arithmetic, not promises.

  1. Day 1

    Two gummies, after a meal

Pick a time you will keep — breakfast or dinner, it does not matter, as long as it is the same one. Write down the batch code from the base of the jar.

  2. Days 2–15

    Same two gummies, same time

Thirty gummies gone, thirty left, half the jar. Each daily dose carries 250 mg of omega-3, 187.5 mg of it as DHA; EPA and DHA contribute to the normal function of the heart.

  3. Days 16–30

The second half of the jar

The jar empties on day thirty. Two gummies remain the whole daily dose throughout — never more, whatever the day.

A food supplement is not a substitute for a varied and balanced diet or a healthy lifestyle. Do not exceed the recommended daily dose. Suitable for children from 4 years, under adult supervision. Keep out of the reach of young children. Excessive consumption may produce laxative effects.

Questions

The questions people actually ask

Short answers with the numbers in them. If what you need is not here, ask us before you buy rather than after.

Answers refer to the batch named in them. The codes printed on the bottle you receive are the ones that count.

Why algae and not fish oil?

Because the DHA and EPA here come from the microalga Schizochytrium sp., the same organism fish themselves get their omega-3 from further up the food chain. That means no fish smell, no fish aftertaste, and the jar works in a vegan kitchen.

The amount is the same kind of number either way: 250 mg of omega-3 per daily dose, printed on the label.

Is 250 mg enough, and why does it say DHA and EPA together?

The authorised claim — EPA and DHA contribute to the normal function of the heart — applies at 250 mg of EPA and DHA combined per day, and two gummies give exactly that: 187.5 mg as DHA plus 62.5 mg as EPA. Neither figure on its own reaches the separate 250 mg threshold set for DHA-only claims about brain function or vision, so we do not make those.

Why is there no lab report for this batch?

We do not hold one for this product, and we are not going to invent a laboratory or a report number to make the page look more complete. What is genuine: the batch number and the best-before date are printed on the base of every jar.

Why does the label warn about a laxative effect?

Because part of the sweetness comes from maltitol, a sugar alcohol. Every label on a product sweetened this way carries that warning by law. Two gummies a day is the recommended dose and it should not be exceeded.

Is it suitable for a 3-year-old?

No. The label states the gummies are suitable for children from 4 years, taken under adult supervision. For a younger child, ask a doctor or pharmacist rather than guessing at a smaller dose.

Is it vegan?

Yes. The gummy is set with pectin rather than gelatine and the DHA and EPA come from algal oil rather than fish. Nothing in the ingredient list comes from an animal, and the product carries no allergen labelling under Regulation (EU) No 1169/2011.

Can my child take two gummies twice a day?

No. Two gummies is the recommended daily intake printed on the label and it must not be exceeded.

How do I know the jar I received is the real thing?

Check the codes: EAN 4262487491252, SKU C2B-KIDS-OMG3-GUM, sold by Therapium Ltd, 71–75 Shelton Street, Covent Garden, London WC2H 9JQ. If what is printed on your jar does not match what is printed here, tell us and do not use it.

How should it be stored?

Closed, dry, cool and away from direct light. Out of the reach of young children.
