So what does black cumin oil actually do?
We are not allowed to tell you, and we are not going to pretend otherwise. The EU Register of nutrition and health claims contains no authorised wording for black cumin oil, so any sentence a seller writes about what it does is one the regulator has not approved.

Why is the vitamin E only 8 mg?
Because 8 mg is what the label states, and that is 67% of the reference value — enough to count as a source of vitamin E and to carry the authorised wording. Its role here, alongside the recipe, is to help keep the oil from oxidising in the capsule.

Yes. The softgel shell is carrageenan and modified starch rather than gelatine, and the label declares no allergens under Regulation (EU) No 1169/2011.
Is this the same as taking black seed oil on its own?
