Why is the biotin so high, at 3,000 µg?
Because that is what the label states, and it is the dose that lets the hair sentence be used at all. "Biotin contributes to the maintenance of normal hair" is the exact authorised wording, printed at 6,000% of the reference value. A dose that cleared only the minimum 15% would still earn the same sentence, word for word — the label simply carries more than the minimum.
Does that much biotin cause any problem?
Not to your body, but it can interfere with laboratory blood tests — thyroid hormone and cardiac troponin assays in particular — producing a falsely high or low result. Tell your doctor or the laboratory that you take this product before any blood test.
What exactly does the page say about hair, skin and nails?
Three separate sentences, each attached to the nutrient that earns it: "Biotin contributes to the maintenance of normal hair," "Vitamin C contributes to normal collagen formation for the normal function of skin," and "Selenium contributes to the maintenance of normal nails." Nothing is said about the collagen weight, the hyaluronic acid or the silicon, because none of the three has an authorised wording of its own.
Is it vegan?
No. The collagen is hydrolysed from beef, and the label does not describe it as vegan or vegetarian.
Why does it need to be used within two months?
Because it is a liquid with only potassium sorbate and sodium benzoate as preservatives. The label says to store it in a cool place and consume it within two months, and we print that instruction rather than a longer one we cannot back up.
Can I take two shots for a faster result?
No. 15 ml is the recommended daily dose printed on the label and it must not be exceeded. If you are pregnant, breastfeeding or under a doctor's care, check with your doctor before adding a new supplement rather than doubling the dose.
