One drop, and no capsule to argue about
A drop goes on a spoon, into food, or straight into the mouth. There is no gelatine, no capsule shell, no coating and no flow agent, because there is no capsule to fill. The dose can be split — half a dose is half the drops — and nothing has to be swallowed whole.

Three ingredients. That is the entire list.
Medium-chain triglycerides from coconut oil, 96.5%. Cholecalciferol, 2.5%. Menaquinone-7, 1%. The oil is not filler: vitamin D3 and vitamin K2 are fat-soluble and need a carrier, and that is the carrier. Turn the bottle around and you will find the same three lines, in the same order, with nothing after them.

Why both vitamins are in one bottle
Vitamin D governs how much calcium the body absorbs. Vitamin K activates the proteins that direct where that calcium is deposited. That is mechanism, and it is the reason the two are formulated together rather than sold as two bottles. The authorised European wording is short: vitamin D contributes to the normal absorption and utilisation of calcium and phosphorus, and to the maintenance of normal bones; vitamin K contributes to normal blood clotting, and to the maintenance of normal bones. One drop carries 25 µg of D3 — 1,000 IU, 500% of the NRV — and 20 µg of K2 as all-trans menaquinone-7, the isomer named on the label.

The whole case for the price is one division
A drop is a dose. The bottle holds about 1,700 of them. Divide the price by that number and you have what a day costs. We would rather show the working than describe it.

One drop a day makes that 56 months — more than 4 years out of a single bottle. Read it as arithmetic rather than as a promise: the best-before date on the bottle governs, and two people in one house halve the number.
The same €29,00 spread over a 60-dose pack works out at 48.3 cents a day. Identical money, different arithmetic — which is the only reason this bottle looks cheap.

Why is it this cheap?
Nothing is missing from it. Three ingredients, 50 ml, one German manufacturer, sold direct. What looks strange is the dose count: 50 ml of oil is about 1,700 drops, and one drop is one day. €29.00 divided by 1,700 is about 1.7 cents. The bottle is priced normally — it is the number of days inside it that is unusual.
Is 1,000 IU a lot?
One drop gives 25 µg of vitamin D3, which is 1,000 IU and 500% of the NRV.
NRV means Nutrient Reference Value: the single figure EU labels use so that two products can be compared. For vitamin D it is 5 µg. It is a labelling reference, not a ceiling and not a personal recommendation, which is why a percentage tells you nothing without the microgram figure beside it. For context, the tolerable upper intake level EFSA sets for adults is 100 µg a day.
We print the 500% rather than hide it. If you already take another vitamin D product, or you are not sure how this fits, ask your doctor or pharmacist first.
Why is there K2 in a vitamin D product?

Can I take it alongside my medication?
Ask your doctor before you start — particularly if you take anticoagulants, where vitamin K is directly relevant. The same applies during pregnancy and breastfeeding, and for children.
