Day 1
One softgel, 250 ml of water
Mark the date somewhere you will see it again, then repeat every third day. Write down the lot from the base of the can too: SS4122 for the current lot.

Days 4–90
Every third day, thirty softgels
Thirty softgels take you through the first three months, half the can. Each one carries 75 µg of vitamin D3; vitamin D contributes to the normal function of the immune system.

Days 91–180
The second half of the can
The can empties around day 180. Vitamin D contributes to the maintenance of normal bones — that is the authorised wording for the 75 µg in each softgel, and the only thing we will say about it.

How can vitamin D3 be vegan?
D3 is usually made from lanolin, which comes from sheep's wool; a vegan D3 is made from lichen instead. Our specification and label say vegan vitamin D3 without naming the raw material, so that is as far as we will go — if the exact source matters to you, write to us and we will ask the manufacturer.
What the label does state plainly is that the whole product is vegan: the shell is tapioca starch, glycerin and water, with no gelatine.
Why one every three days and not one a day?
Because that is the intake printed on the label: one softgel with 250 ml of water every three days. Vitamin D is fat-soluble, which is why a label can spread a larger amount over several days instead of asking for a small one each morning.
1,500 % of the reference value sounds enormous.
The reference value for vitamin D is 5 µg, and 75 µg is 1,500 % of it — but that 75 µg covers three days, which works out at 25 µg a day. Reference values are labelling figures, not limits. If you already take another vitamin D product, ask a doctor or pharmacist before adding this one.
What is in the softgel?
Four things: sunflower oil, vegan vitamin D3, and a coating of tapioca starch, glycerin and water. The specification also states no added sugar, non-GMO, and no allergen labelling under Regulation (EU) No 1169/2011.
What exactly was analysed?
Lot SS4122, a sealed original pack of 60 capsules, best before 10/2027. PLENUM in Ennepetal analysed it on 4 March 2026 under number BOD/04/03/26 for lead, arsenic, cadmium and mercury, and for aerobic mesophilic count, yeasts and moulds, Enterobacteriaceae, salmonella and E. coli. The finding was that there is nothing to object to.

What is the difference from your 4,000 IU can?
Three things. This one is vegan and has a tapioca-starch shell; the 4,000 IU can uses beef gelatine, halal compliant. This one is 75 µg every three days, the other is 100 µg every four days. And this can holds 60 softgels for 180 days, the other 180 softgels for 720 days.
I forgot a day — do I double up?
No. Take the next softgel and carry on with the three-day rhythm from there. The recommended intake on the label must not be exceeded.
How should it be stored?
Closed, dry, cool and away from direct light. Out of the reach of children.
Can children take it?
