On the label
What one tablet contains
The label prints one nutrient and nothing else with a declared amount. One tablet is the daily dose.
Iodine
150 µg 100 %Form: potassium iodide
Also found in: sea fish, dairy, iodised salt
Iodine contributes to the normal production of thyroid hormones and normal thyroid function.
* NRV = nutrient reference value under Regulation (EU) No 1169/2011.
The course
What six months look like
One tablet a day, 180 in the bottle. Here is what you do and what you can count along the way — arithmetic, not promises.
-
Day 1
One tablet, 250 ml of water
Pick a regular time each day you can keep. Write down the lot from the base of the bottle.
-
Days 2–90
Same tablet, same time
Ninety tablets gone, ninety left, half the bottle. Each one carries 150 µg of iodine, 100 % of the reference value; iodine contributes to the normal production of thyroid hormones and normal thyroid function.
-
Days 91–180
The second half of the bottle
The bottle empties on day 180, six months after the first tablet. Iodine contributes to normal cognitive function — that is the authorised wording for the same 150 µg in every tablet.
A food supplement is not a substitute for a varied and balanced diet or a healthy lifestyle. Do not exceed the recommended daily dose. Keep out of the reach of children. Not suitable for pregnant and breastfeeding women. In case of thyroid disorders, consult a doctor before taking it.
Who makes it, who tested it
A named maker, a bottle you can check
Therapium Ltd issues and ships the product from 71–75 Shelton Street, Covent Garden, London WC2H 9JQ, United Kingdom, and the label states the tablets are lab-tested in Germany. The lot number and the best-before date are printed on the base of the bottle — we do not hold a separate analysis certificate for this product, so we quote what the label itself states rather than inventing a report number.

The questions people actually ask
Short answers with the numbers in them. If what you need is not here, ask us before you buy rather than after.
Answers refer to the batch named in them. The codes printed on the bottle you receive are the ones that count.
Why potassium iodide and not kelp or seaweed extract?
Because potassium iodide is a fixed mineral compound: 150 µg per tablet, every tablet, exactly 100 % of the reference value. Kelp and seaweed extracts carry iodine too, but the amount in any given plant can vary a great deal, which makes the dose harder to print with confidence.
Is it safe during pregnancy?
The label states it is not recommended during pregnancy or breastfeeding. Follow the label.
I have a thyroid condition — can I take this?
The label says to consult a doctor before taking it if you have a thyroid disorder. Iodine intake and thyroid conditions interact, so this is a genuine case for medical advice rather than a label formality.
Can children take it?
The label gives no separate rule for children beyond "keep out of reach of children" and the daily dose that must not be exceeded. If you are considering it for a child, ask a doctor first.
Is it vegan?
Yes. The tablet uses microcrystalline cellulose and dicalcium phosphate as bulking agents and magnesium salts of fatty acids as an anti-caking agent; nothing in the ingredient list comes from an animal.
How do I know the bottle I received is the real thing?
Check the codes: EAN 4262487490965, SKU CTB-IOD-TAB-01, issued by Therapium Ltd, 71–75 Shelton Street, Covent Garden, London WC2H 9JQ, United Kingdom. If what is printed on your bottle does not match what is printed here, tell us and do not use it.
Can I take more than one tablet a day?
No. One tablet is the recommended daily intake on the label and it must not be exceeded.
How should it be stored?
Closed, dry, cool and away from direct light. Out of the reach of children.
Does this iodine do anything besides the thyroid?
Yes. Iodine contributes to normal energy-yielding metabolism, and iodine contributes to normal cognitive function too — the label's own tagline reads "THYROID · METABOLISM · COGNITION", and the same 150 µg in the tablet meets the condition for all three.
What if it is not for me?
Send it back within 60 days and we refund it — that is the return policy printed at the top of every page.
