So what does shilajit actually do?
We are not allowed to tell you, and we are not going to pretend otherwise. The EU Register of nutrition and health claims contains no authorised wording for shilajit, so any sentence a seller writes about energy, stamina or vitality is one the regulator has not approved.
What we can print is the number: 600 mg of shilajit extract per daily dose, standardised to 20 % fulvic acid.
Why does the fulvic acid percentage matter?
Because it is the figure that actually varies between shilajit products — not the total extract weight, which can be padded with filler. This one is standardised to 20 %, so 120 mg of the 600 mg daily dose is fulvic acid, printed as a number rather than left as a vague description.
How much of the capsule is actually shilajit?
62.5 % by weight, per capsule. The rest is the capsule shell (hydroxypropyl methylcellulose), a bulking agent (microcrystalline cellulose) and L-leucine, which keeps the powder flowing during filling.
