Why does the label warn about a laxative effect?
Because the sweetness comes from maltitol, erythritol and sorbitol, which are sugar alcohols. Every label on a product sweetened this way carries that warning. Two gummies a day is the recommended intake and it must not be exceeded.
Is 200 mg of magnesium really in two gummies?
Yes — the specification and the label both print 200 mg of magnesium per daily dose of two gummies, which is 53 % of the reference value, from magnesium citrate. That is unusually high for a gummy, and it is why the daily dose is two rather than one.
Is it vegan?
Yes. The gummy is set with pectin instead of gelatine, coloured with purple carrot juice concentrate and glazed with carnauba wax. Nothing in the list comes from an animal, and the product carries no allergen labelling under Regulation (EU) No 1169/2011.
Why only 30 days in a tin?
