Why five magnesium forms and not one?
Because the label can then print what each one gives you: 400 mg of magnesium bisglycinate, 370.7 mg of gluconate, 333.3 mg of DL-malate, 200 mg of taurate and 200 mg of tri-magnesium dicitrate. Together they add up to 250 mg of elemental magnesium.
We make no comparison between the forms beyond what the label states — the numbers are there so you can compare them yourself.
Is 250 mg the elemental magnesium or the salt weight?
Elemental. The label states 250 mg of magnesium per daily dose of two capsules, which is 66.7 % of the nutrient reference value. The combined salt weight is much higher, and that is the number some labels print instead.
Why is vitamin B6 included?
Because the label carries it as its own line: 1.4 mg per daily dose, 100 % of the reference value. Vitamin B6 contributes to the reduction of tiredness and fatigue and to normal functioning of the nervous system — both authorised wordings for that amount.
When should I take it?
Two capsules a day with 250 ml of water, at whatever time you will actually keep. The label sets no particular hour. Do not exceed two capsules a day.
Is it vegan?
Yes. The capsule shell is hydroxypropyl methylcellulose, and the ingredient list carries nothing from an animal. The product carries no allergen labelling under Regulation (EU) No 1169/2011.
