The second half of the can
The can empties on day sixty. Magnesium contributes to normal muscle function — that is the authorised wording for the 200 mg in each tablet, and the only thing we will say about it.

Why four forms and not one?
Because the label can then print what each one gives you: 160 mg of the magnesium comes from bisglycinate, 22.5 mg from citrate, 11.5 mg from malate and 6 mg from taurate. Four lines, four numbers, one total of 200 mg.
We make no comparison between the forms beyond what the label states — the numbers are there so you can compare them yourself.
Is 200 mg the elemental magnesium or the salt weight?
Elemental. The specification and the label both state 200 mg of magnesium per tablet, which is 53.4 % of the nutrient reference value. The salt weights are much higher, and that is the number some labels print instead.
When should I take it?
One tablet a day with 250 ml of water, at whatever time you will actually keep. The label sets no particular hour. Do not exceed one tablet a day.
Is it vegan?
Yes. The tablet is coated with hydroxypropyl methylcellulose and uses magnesium stearate as an anti-caking agent — nothing in the ingredient list comes from an animal. The specification also states no added sugar and non-GMO, and the product carries no allergen labelling under Regulation (EU) No 1169/2011.
What exactly was analysed?
Lot SS4442, sealed original pack of 60 tablets, best before 02/2028. PLENUM in Ennepetal analysed it on 4 March 2026 under number BOD/04/03/26-B for lead, arsenic, cadmium and mercury, and for aerobic mesophilic count, yeasts and moulds, Enterobacteriaceae, salmonella and E. coli. The finding was that there is nothing to object to.

Can I take two tablets on a hard training day?
No. One tablet is the recommended daily intake on the label and it must not be exceeded. If you want more magnesium than that, talk to a doctor or pharmacist rather than doubling the dose.
How should it be stored?
Closed, dry, cool and away from direct light. Out of the reach of children.
How is this different from the magnesium at the pharmacy?
Look at two lines on any label: how many milligrams of elemental magnesium one tablet gives, and which salt it comes from. Ours says 200 mg and names four salts with the milligrams of each. Then ask for the analysis of the lot; ours is from PLENUM in Ennepetal and we quote what it says on this page; the report itself is not published.
