Why isn't there a claim for chloride, even though the label prints 56 %?
Because the EU wording for chloride — the one about normal digestion — cannot legally be used when the chloride comes from sodium chloride, and our tablet's chloride comes from both potassium chloride and sodium chloride. The label prints 56 % of the reference value honestly; we just cannot attach the sentence the regulation would otherwise allow.
The other nine lines on the label do carry an authorised claim, and each one is in the table above with its own sentence.
Why is the sodium only 103.2 mg?
Because this is a mineral tablet, not a sports drink. The sodium here comes from the sodium chloride used to carry chloride and balance the mineral blend, at the amount the specification states — there is no established EU reference value for sodium, so no percentage is printed for it either.
If you sweat heavily and need a much larger sodium dose, an electrolyte drink built for that purpose is the better tool; this tablet is not it.
Is this the same as an electrolyte powder or a rehydration drink?
No. It is a small tablet swallowed with a glass of water, not a powder dissolved into one. Nothing here is designed to flavour or replace the water you drink — it is minerals and B-vitamins in tablet form, at the doses printed on the label.
Is it vegan?
Yes. The tablet uses microcrystalline cellulose as a bulking agent and magnesium salts of fatty acids as an anti-caking agent; nothing in the ingredient list comes from an animal, and there is no capsule shell to worry about.
