Questions

The questions people actually ask

Short answers with the numbers in them. If what you need is not here, ask us before you buy rather than after.

Answers refer to the batch named in them. The codes printed on the bottle you receive are the ones that count.

What flavour is this powder and how is it prepared?

It contains natural cherry flavouring. Per label directions, stir 1 scoop (10 g powder) into 300 ml of cold water and drink preferably before, during or after training.

How does Cherry differ from the Blackberry flavour?

Cherry is flavoured with natural cherry flavour and coloured with beetroot juice powder, whereas Blackberry is flavoured with natural blackberry flavour and coloured with spirulina and beetroot extract. Both provide the identical 8,000 mg EAA profile and 1.4 mg of vitamin B6.

Where does the cherry powder get its red colour?

The red colour comes from beetroot juice powder, a food ingredient rather than synthetic dyes.

How should this EAA powder be consumed around training?

The label recommends stirring one 10 g scoop into 300 ml of cold water, drinking it preferably before, during or after training. Do not exceed one scoop daily.

So what do these amino acids actually do?

We can only tell you what the EU Register authorises, and that is one sentence for one ingredient: vitamin B6 contributes to normal protein and glycogen metabolism, and this scoop carries 1.4 mg of it, 100% of the reference value.

No EU-authorised wording exists for individual amino acids, so we make no claim about what leucine, lysine or any of the other six do in the body — only the printed milligram amounts, in the table above.

Is 1.4 mg of vitamin B6 a high dose?

No. 1.4 mg is exactly 100% of the reference value for vitamin B6 — the ordinary amount used across a wide range of everyday supplements, not a megadose. Taken at the labelled one-scoop dose, it stays at that reference level.

Why does the label warn about phenylketonuria (PKU)?

Because the amino acid blend contains L-phenylalanine, which makes the product a source of phenylalanine. People with phenylketonuria must control their phenylalanine intake, so the label states this plainly rather than leaving it buried in the ingredient list.

When should I take it?

Preferably before, during or after training, stirred into 300 ml of cold water. Do not exceed the recommended daily dose of one scoop.

What else is in the scoop besides the amino acids?

Citric acid as an acidity regulator, inulin, natural cherry flavouring, colouring beetroot juice powder, sweeteners (sucralose, acesulfame K), and 1.4 mg of vitamin B6 — the full ingredient list printed on the pouch.
