Why turmeric first, if the claim on the page is about vitamin C?
Because the label prints ingredients by weight, and turmeric juice concentrate is the largest one: 7.2 g of it, ahead of the collagen. The EU Register has no authorised wording for turmeric or curcumin, so we print the number and say nothing about what it does. Vitamin C is the nutrient the Register does authorise a cartilage-related sentence for, at the dose in this shot, and that sentence is the only thing on this page describing an effect.
What does the vitamin C sentence actually say?
"Vitamin C contributes to normal collagen formation for the normal function of cartilage." That is the exact wording authorised for a product carrying at least 15 % of the reference value of vitamin C; this shot carries 45 %. We do not shorten it, extend it, or attach it to the turmeric or the collagen weight instead.
Is glucosamine here from shellfish?
The label lists "glucosamine sulfate" without stating the source, and does not carry a crustacean allergen declaration. We have not seen a document that confirms the raw material, so we are not going to guess either way — if a shellfish allergy applies to you, check with us before ordering rather than relying on this page.
Why does it need refrigerating and a two-month window?
Because it is a liquid with no added preservative beyond potassium sorbate and sodium benzoate. The label says to store it in a cool place and consume it within two months, and we print that instruction rather than a longer shelf life we cannot back up.
Can I take two shots on a day my joints feel worse?
No. 15 ml is the recommended daily dose printed on the label and it must not be exceeded. If you take anticoagulant medication, or have gallstones, bile duct problems, diabetes or impaired glucose tolerance, speak to your doctor before you start, rather than adjusting the dose yourself.
Is it vegan?
