What the science says
Niacinamide (vitamin B3) — A form of vitamin B3 that helps the skin keep its moisture barrier strong and evens the look of tone. In studies it slowed the hand-over of pigment to the surface skin layers. [1][2][3]
Hyaluronic acid, two sizes — A water-binding molecule. The small (hydrolysed) form sits in the upper layers, the larger form holds water on the surface — for a plumper, dewier look. [4]
Studies used 2–5% niacinamide; our formula lists niacinamide 8th of 21 ingredients, among its main actives. The apple-extract and phospholipid complex behind the EXOVIA™ name is a skin-conditioning ingredient — we do not quote studies for it because there are no published human studies on it yet.
