What the science says
Plant emollients — Research on emollients (oils, butters and esters) found that they keep the skin smooth and help break the dry-skin cycle. Results depend on the whole formula and on regular use. [1]
Tocopherol (vitamin E) — A fat-soluble antioxidant used in skin care for more than 50 years. Lab research supports an antioxidant, barrier-stabilising role, while controlled human studies are still few. [2]
The formula is built on organic hemp seed oil (#1) blended with lightweight dry-touch emollients. Cannabidiol (CBD) is listed at position 5 (1% is printed on the pack); our library has no independent cosmetic study on topical CBD, so we do not quote research for it. Tocopherol sits at position 6 and mainly keeps the oils fresh. The oil is designed to soften and comfort dry skin; nothing more is claimed.
