What the science says

Aloe vera — Research evaluating topical creams showed that aloe vera extract significantly increased the moisture level of the outermost skin layer compared with a vehicle base. [1]

Glycerin — A well-documented humectant that draws water into the surface skin layers, supporting skin suppleness and moisture barrier comfort. [2]

The cited studies evaluated aloe and glycerin in moisturising formulas, not in deodorants. In our roll-on, aloe leaf extract is the second ingredient and glycerin the fifth. Triethyl citrate and shikimic acid work on odour; we do not quote studies for them because none in our library applies. This product is a deodorant, not an antiperspirant: it does not block sweat.
